Three to See at the 2017 Belk Bowl

With the support of the SEC and ACC conferences and a pipeline of NFL talent playing in the game, the Belk Bowl is a can’t-miss event for Charlotte-area sports fans and a national TV audience.

To help you prepare for the big match up between Wake Forest and Texas A&M at Bank of America Stadium on December 29, we’ve created a list of the top three ways to experience one of the premier postseason bowl games in America like a pro.

Fan Central

December 28, 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Located in the EpiCentre the night before the Belk Bowl, this event features both universities’ pep bands, cheerleaders and mascots dueling it out in front of thousands of fans. The party starts at 7:00 p.m. A DJ  performs throughout the event and both schools have official bars onsite.

Belk Bowl FanFest

December 29, 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Country music star Scotty McCreery headlines the 2017 FanFest. McCreery will be performing just outside Bank of America Stadium at 11 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.   More details are found here.

The Belk Bowl

December 29, 1 p.m.

The Texas A&M Aggies and Wake Forest Demon Deacons will meet for the first time at the 2017 Belk Bowl. Texas A&M will be making their first Belk Bowl appearance under the direction of interim coach Jeff Banks, but you can bet incoming head coach Jimbo Fisher will be keeping a close eye on the Aggies during the match up.
